What does the PTO do? 

What does the PTO do? The Tussing PTO raises funds through events, activities, and fundraisers to support and improve Tussing Elementary. PTO members also band together to support and treat Tussing teachers. Some recent work of the PTO includes:

  • purchasing the Toby the Tiger costume

  • providing a new TV for the teacher's lounge

  • provided Field Day shirts and treats

  • provided DARE shirts and decorations for 5th grade students' DARE graduation

  • purchased a steam cleaner to eliminate the cost of rug cleaning

  • recognizing Tussing Tigers on their birthdays with yard signs

  • providing Welcome Back decor for the school's open house and first day of school

How can you help the PTO?

Join the PTO

At the start of each year, students will bring home an envelope and form for caregivers to sign up for the PTO. It is $5 to join!

Participate in Fundraisers

Throughout the year, students will bring home various fundraisers. Every student who participates and sells items or raises money help contribute to our PTO!
